Espira's decorative elements are cast from glazed bone china. Porcelain leaves undergo a double firing process. The first hardens the piece allowing it to retain its porous surface. Before the second stage, the pendants are immersed in the glaze. Once the second and final firing stage is complete, the surface becomes extremely smooth and glossy.
Alexandr Schipalkin, the founder of the company, is a permanent of the team designing Sagarti collections. Espira, the second collection of the company, is considered Alexandr's brainchild primarily, and rightly so. The Espira collection went very quickly from idea to realization thanks to Alexandr's ability to meet goals, faith in success, and work ethic.
