Base

The metal base of Ellea luminaires is covered in eco-leather. The technical name of the material is VinylisLeather, produced in Germany by the brand Denkart. Vinylisleather has a knitted base, coated with a thermoplastic polymer. The following list of some of its characteristics makes it a material that meets our high-quality requirements:

- Used to upholster car and yacht interiors, its weather and UV resistance makes it an excellent choice for outdoor furniture.

- Easily tolerates temperatures ranging between - 35 to + 80 °С.

- Requires little in terms of maintenance and be cleaned with detergents and water.

- Resistant to scratches and dirt.

Optical fiber

Optical fiber is a modern light-conducting material, used in lighting for its striking aesthetics and practical use. Porcelain flowers are hung along a fiber optic strand. The light, going through the strand, illuminates the bud and creates a graceful suggestive glow.

Porcelain

Ornaments for the Ellea Collection are made from porcelain, a material with centuries of history that consists of all-natural components, such as white clay, quartz, and field spat. To manufacture our delicate translucent petals, we use a specific sculpting porcelain. Neither glazed nor biscuit, Parian ware is a variety of English porcelain famous for its beautiful white marble color. Parian ware differs in its exceptional purity and brilliance, making it more sought after than the very highly requested biscuit. Beyond its outstanding quality, Parian ware, like all porcelain, is eco-friendly.

Gold

The bird-shaped decorative elements are made of biscuit bone china and enriched with gold leaf applications. Thin gold sheets are applied to each bird figurine's head and tail, before being smoothed with a brush and then varnished. The finished result is a vibrant contrast between the warm, matte surface of the biscuit china and the gilded elegance of the gold.
