Project “Sense and sensibility” by Alena Chashkina /@alenachashkina/. Year of design – 2017; Year of Application – 2019. An article about the project was published in the SALON Interior magazine on the 7th of August 2020. @salon_magazine The dreamhouse in modern Art Deco style. Home, where love lives, senses reign, and feelings are protected. Elegant and cozy, it’s filled with light and warmth of the people who live there. The living room is a unique area of the house.

Spacious, with a beautiful staircase, its focal point is a four-meter Sagarti Espira Grand Chandelier.

As the natural light changes throughout the day, so does the chandelier. Sunlight turns this chandelier into an artistic installation, with porcelain pendants floating freely in the air. When twilight falls, it reveals its luminous secrets: fiber optic strands cause the Swarovski crystals to twinkle, as shadows play along the porcelain leaves’ grooves.
